Hierofanía

Al manifestar lo sagrado, un objeto cualquiera se convierte en otra cosa sin dejar de ser él mismo, pues continúa participando del medio circundante. Para quienes una hoja de papel, una tela, cualquier materia se les revela como sagrados, su realidad inmediata se transmuta, por el contrario, en realidad sobrenatural.

Hay universos donde la magia, lo sagrado se conciben como una revelación, una metamorfosis…transformar el barro, la materia burda, lo profano en algo maravilloso, la elevación a través de lo humilde.

La presente exposición es una manifestación de una alquimia propia, de la tecnomagia, lo mecafísico, la electrobotánica.

Los personajes operan como presencias simbólicas surgidas de un mito personal, se convierten en una invitación para habitar un universo donde los pensamientos se vuelven formas y colores. En esa hierofanía se reconoce al ser humano como una presencia más entre otras que ya existen.

Hierophany

In manifesting the sacred, any object becomes something else without ceasing to be itself, for it continues to participate in its surrounding environment. For those to whom a sheet of paper, a fabric, any matter reveals itself as sacred, its immediate reality transmutes, instead, into supernatural reality.

There are universes where magic, the sacred, are conceived as a revelation, a metamorphosis… transforming clay, crude matter, the profane into something marvelous, elevation through the humble.

The present exhibition is a manifestation of a personal alchemy, of technomagic, the mechaphysical, electrobotany.

The figures operate as symbolic presences arisen from a personal myth, becoming an invitation to inhabit a universe where thoughts become shapes and colors. In this hierophany, the human being is recognized as one presence among others that already exist.
